研究方向
人工智能生物学、微生物资源、微生物组学。主要关注农业有益微生物资源的高通量发掘、精准化评价与智能化利用。(1)开发出新型农业微生物资源发掘的生物信息平台,建立了世界上规模最大的杀虫微生物种质和功能基因资源库,推动了第一个杀植物寄生线虫的芽胞杆菌农药成功上市。(2)分别重构芽胞杆菌纲、乳酸菌属、类芽胞杆菌属等具有重要应用价值的微生物的分类学框架,使生态位、应用潜力与分类地位具有一定的适配性;解析了重要农业微生物适应宿主/环境的演化规律、遗传基础,指导种质资源有针对性开发。以通讯作者身份在PANS、Nature Communications、Microbiome等期刊发表SCI论文20余篇,单篇最高被引超过3600次;主持国家自然科学基金4项,湖北省重大专项1项、国家肥料微生物保护项目1项,企业重大横向项目1项;获湖北省技术发明一等奖1项。
